Student Life

At Cal Poly Humboldt you have the unique opportunity to engage in many fun activities. From renting a wetsuit and surf board at the Center Activities, to seeing top acts such as B.B. King or Ladysmith Black Mambazo at the CenterArts, to cheering on the Lumberjacks at a soccer match, to watching a movie at one of the oldest continually operating theaters in the United States, to walking among the redwood giants in the campus forest, to simply watching the sunset on one of the sandy Humboldt County beaches, Arcata has numerous exciting activities.

ERE students relax by competing in the annual Kinetic Sculpture Race World Championships in Arcata or by going for a walk in the community forest.

In addition, ERE students use their free time to give back to the community. In this section you can find information on what ERE students do outside of the classroom.

Find out how ERE clubs give back to the community.

ERE students often seek challenges beyond the classroom and often come out on top.

Each spring sophomore to graduating students are awarded for outstanding achievement.
