Dining Sustainability Student Coordinator position with Green Campus

The general job description is as follows:
Job Description: Green Campus is hiring a student coordinator that will work on projects to increase sustainability throughout operations in Dining, with an emphasis on waste reduction, water conservation, and energy efficiency. Responsibilities will include: implementing projects, technical work (e.g., calculating energy used by different light fixtures or appliances), education of peers (e.g., conducting classroom presentation or workshops) and outreach activities (e.g., tabling on the quad or providing information tables at campus events), leading meetings, collaborating/coordinating among multiple entities, attending regular team meetings, creating and running sustainability trainings, and writing reports and proposals. Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work within deadlines with little direct supervision. Coordinators will also work with for-credit interns to accomplish tasks and will likely take a leadership role towards those interns. This position will be managed by a team leader and take overall direction from Office of Sustainability staff.
