The Society of Women Engineers is putting on their annual Engineering Day on Saturday Sept. 21st at the North Country Fair in downtown Arcata and Sunday Sept. 22nd in the Arcata Library Rec Room.

On Wednesday, September 25th, ASCE is putting on their annual Pizza with Professionals event from 6-9pm at Paul's Live from New York in Arcata.

This Friday, September 6, the  Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) student club is hosting a Tostada Bar to welcome everyone back to school. There will also be a piñata! 

The event will take place in Science D, Room 5, at 5:00pm.  Everyone is welcome, so don't hesitate to come and find out what SHPE is about!

Engineering Day has hands-on engineering activities for local students to enjoy. HSU ERE students get the opportunity to facilitate activities and work to promote curiosity and engagement in STEM fields in grade-school students.

A sign up sheet for the Spring 2018 SciD locker lottery has been posted in the SciD fishbowl. If you're an ERE major--or ERE or ETaP grad student--hoping to get a locker next semester, here's what you should know:

- ERE undergrads are required to have passed Thermodynamics (ENGR 331) if you sign up for the lottery (this requirement is waived for ERE & ETaP grad students).
