Student Opportunities
The California Department of Transportation, District 1 in conjunction with the California Transportation Foundation (CTF) and Caltrans Social Fund, is pleased to announce the availability of two (2) $1,500 scholarships.
All Humboldt undergraduates must pass the Graduation Writing Proficiency Exam (GWPE) to graduate. Students are encouraged to take the exam in their junior year.

Redwoods Rising is a unique collaboration among Redwood National and State Parks, Save the Redwoods League, Cal Poly Humboldt, and College of the Redwoods, working to restore second-growth redwood forests in this region.
The Schatz Energy Research Center (SERC) is seeking volunteer docents to join their interdisciplinary outreach team. Students in all majors — and from all local colleges — are invited to apply. Experience working with youth, familiarity with renewable energy systems, and multilingualism are all highly welcome skill sets.
