The California Department of Transportation, District 1 in conjunction with the California Transportation Foundation (CTF) and Caltrans Social Fund, is pleased to announce the availability of two (2) $1,500 scholarships.

All Humboldt undergraduates must pass the Graduation Writing Proficiency Exam (GWPE) to graduate. Students are encouraged to take the exam in their junior year.

The Schatz Energy Research Center (SERC) is seeking volunteer docents to join their interdisciplinary outreach team. Students in all majors — and from all local colleges — are invited to apply. Experience working with youth, familiarity with renewable energy systems, and multilingualism are all highly welcome skill sets.
