2022 Hydrology Research Experience for Students

Sacramento, Humboldt & San Diego State are offering a 10 day hydrology hybrid class this summer. Spend 10 days in August 2022 at the Eel River Watershed on the coast of Northern California. Get hands-on experience with hydrology field skills. Learn about cutting-edge research on water, ecology, and the landscape, and collect data to advance that research. Participants are paid a $1,300 stipend.

Using data from your field experience investigate questions like how climate change and human use affect water sustainability. Study California coastal watersheds with natural habitat and protected fish species. Explore how to protect these watersheds from human and climate Impacts. Gain research and professional skills, interact with stakeholders, and develop your resume
