The CSU Council on Ocean Affairs, Science & Technology (COAST) is pleased to announce funding for both undergraduate and graduate students for the year!
Undergraduate Student Research Support Program (Links to an external site.)
Funds are available at your campus to support marine, coastal and coastal watershed related research by undergraduate students. Last year with your help and support, this program funded 78 undergraduate students at 21 campuses throughout the CSU (report attached). Please review the 2020-21 Program Description, Guidance and Requirements (Links to an external site.) and contact your Campus Representatives (Links to an external site.) for information on your campus' application process and deadlines.
Graduate Student Research Award Program (Links to an external site.)
CSU graduate students engaged in marine, estuarine, coastal and coastal watershed research with a CSU faculty member are invited to apply to the AY 2020-21 COAST Graduate Student Research Award Program. We expect to make at least 33 awards this year.
Students interested in these programs are asked to review the Student Funding FAQ (Links to an external site.) first, and then contact Kimberly Jassowski (kjassowski@csumb.edu) with any remaining questions.
