Junior Commissioned Officer Student Training and Extern Program (JRCOSTEP) is currently accepting students

From one of our graduates:

The Junior Commissioned Officer Student Training and Extern Program (JRCOSTEP) is currently accepting students to initiate the application process on or before October 13th. The program is a good opportunity to get exposed to different federal government entities and gain work experience. There are usually many positions focused on water and wastewater engineering. I completed the program two times. I spent one summer working for the IHS in Redding, CA and another summer working for the NPS in Grand Teton National Park. I’m currently working in the IHS office in Billings, MT and we are planning on hiring multiple interns for next summer through this program. Information about the program can be accessed at https://www.usphs.gov/apply/jrcostep.aspx.
