Mattole Watershed Restoration Field Course Available to Students!
Join the Mattole Restoration Council for a five-day field course in watershed restoration, focusing on many aspects of ecological restoration. Network with restoration professionals while boosting your resume! Activities will include one on-campus lecture followed by a 5-day (40 hour) field course in the Mattole River watershed from May 16-20, 2022. Learn about forest and instream restoration, salmon habitat, groundwater recharge, grassland/coastal prairie restoration, and much more!
Current COVID-19 precautions in place at the time of the field course will apply. Students may be required to drive their own vehicles.
Students can receive 1 credit for this course during the spring 2022 semester by registering for ESM 480, CRN 21911.
The fee for the week is $750, payable to the Mattole Restoration Council. All dinners and campsites provided.
