MIT Info Sessions for Underrepresented Students Interested in Grad Degree in Mechanical Engineering: 10/29 and 11/5
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). MIT has recently launched thevFutures in Mechanical Engineering program to encourage, support, and inform students from underrepresented groups in STEM interested in pursuing a graduate degree in mechanical engineering. In the coming weeks, we will be hosting the following info sessions and a workshop for various underrepresented groups in STEM, with the 1st event being TOMORROW, Oct 29:

Thursday November 5, 5:00pm-6:30pm EST*
Join faculty, staff, and current graduate students from MIT’s Department of Mechanical Engineering for an introduction into the admissions process, panel discussions, and Q&A focused on the experience of URM students studying mechanical engineering at MIT. Many groups fall under the category of URM in STEM, but examples include Black, Hispanic/Latinx, Native American/Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian/Other Pacific Islander, Filipino, Hmong, or Vietnamese, LGBTQIA+, Gender Minorities, etc.
