* The CTF Education Symposium is a two-day intensive, interactive experience. Students will work in teams on a real-world transportation exercise under the guidance of professionals. In addition, students will be paired with a mentor from the participating professionals to review their resume and work experience to prepare for the post-school job market. The symposium also provides students opportunities to engage in group discussions with the professionals aimed at providing a safe space to ask questions and get the unvarnished truth about the transportation industry from seasoned practitioners.

To ensure a diverse student group, CTF will reserve at least one spot for each university or college in our cohort. Additional students will be accepted as space allows. We limit the program to 40 students statewide to ensure that each student is paired with a professional and has a meaningful mentoring and educational experience. CTF provides scholarship opportunities of up to $5,000 exclusively for students who participate in the two-day symposium.

There is no cost to students to attend the Education Symposium. CTF covers the registration fee, lodging on November 4, and food from breakfast on November 4 through lunch on November 5. Ground transportation to/from the airport is also provided for those who must fly to attend.  Additionally, this year CTF is offering a need-based travel stipend on a first come-first-served basis, while funds are available.
