One opening for Outreach Associate has become available from the Redwood Coast Energy Authority with a pay of $18.87 - $23.63 per hour (24 to 30 hours per week, appointments typically start at the beginning of the compensation range). This temporary position includes 14 paid holidays and 3 paid sick days per year and no additional employee benefits. Initial appointment is for six months with the potential for extension up to two years, contingent upon budget and performance. This position will include working at business sites throughout Humboldt, in the Redwood Coast Energy Authority (RCEA) office, and remotely from home. Some schedule flexibility is possible.

Activities may include:

• Outreach to business managers

• Providing excellent customer service, over the phone and in-person

• Describing RCEA program offerings and determining customer eligibility

• Soliciting enrollment into RCEA’s commercial and residential energy efficiency programs

• Coordinating with RCEA’s Community Strategies team to align outreach efforts with

media and social media campaigns

• Supporting the achievement of team goals

• Performing data entry and reporting of outreach efforts
