What kind of work would I be doing?

• General design assistance (entry-level calculations and spreadsheets, equipment research and specification, etc.)
• Report preparation assistance
• Preparation of figures
• Assistance with QA/QC of data
• Construction inspection (soil compaction testing)
• Field data collection assistance
• General office assistance (filing, delivery of samples and equipment)

What are SHN’s minimum qualifications?

• Completion of engineering fundamentals coursework, in or entering your junior or senior year of a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Resources Engineering, or similar field from accredited university or college
• U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Valid California driver's license by hire date

Are there preferred qualifications?

• Engineering in Training (EIT) certification
• Strong computer skills including the Microsoft Office suite
