Job Description
Work with engineers in the water industry on:
Solar power system monitoring and maintenance
Hydroelectric facility retrofit design
Corrosion protection system design
Water and wastewater pump station resiliency projects
Learn about project flow and the impact of climate change on new construction work
Learn to calculate cost and benefit of battery storage and of using solar power
Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
Have interest in engineering or energy management
Must be organized, passionate about energy, willing to learn, and communicate well
Must have a valid California driver’s license
Wages
$14.21 per hour for undergraduate students
$17.04 per hour for graduate students
