Tonight (Tues, Feb 2) 7pm - 8pm: ASCE SF Section Hosting Info Meeting for Students on New JOBS Site!
Event: SF Section JOBS Site Overview for Students Date: Tuesday, February 2, 2021 Time: 7pm to 8 pm The San Francisco Section is excited to announce our new and fully integrated “Jobs” site, which can be found here. This new site allows both employers and jobseekers to create profiles and make postings. This initiative aims to centralize and streamline job postings across SF Section, while empowering local groups with mutually-agreed proceed allocations to reinvest in local initiatives by the local groups. All proceeds from the new “Jobs” initiative will be invested back into branches, groups, and institutes to foster transition of civil engineering students into full members of ASCE and participation in Younger Member Forum and Branch/Institute events and activities. We are pleased to offer this resource free to all ASCE San Francisco Section members who wish to register as “jobseekers” and we offer reduced pricing for Employers who are ASCE San Francisco Section members who would like to submit job postings and review available jobseeker candidates. This zoom meeting will provide an introductory overview to students in the San Francisco Section and put you on the fast-track to promote yourself on the JOBS site to more rapidly secure internships, part-time, and full-time employment. Learn how to set up a profile as well as search available job opportunities by advanced features such as geographic location, keywords, experience, and job duration.
