Please join the College of Professional Studies for a community conversation with Congressman Jared Huffman to discuss the Green New Deal and climate change priorities from 5:45-6:45 p.m., next Tuesday, April 16, in the Native American Forum (BSS 162).

North Coast Representative Jared Huffman will discuss the Green New Deal proposal - what it includes, what it doesn’t, and how we can take meaningful steps toward addressing climate change and economic inequality. As Vice-Ranking Member of the Natural Resources Committee, Ranking Democrat on the Water, Power, and Oceans Subcommittee, and Member of the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis, Congressman Huffman is a leader on natural resource and climate issues in Congress.  

This event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 5:15pm - seating is limited and first-come, first-served.
