HACU National Internship Program (HNIP)
The HACU National Internship Program (HNIP) assists students by placing them in corporate and government internships across the country. These internships are closely related to the student’s academic background and/or career goals. The program provides airfare, housing arrangements, and a weekly stipend of $550 or $620. Applications are accepted year-round for Spring, Summer, and Fall session internships.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Have a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
- Be enrolled in a degree-seeking program at an accredited institution in the U.S. or Puerto Rico.(Students pursuing only a credential will be considered ineligible.)
- Recent graduates are eligible for a limited number of internships.
- Have completed freshmen year.
- Be an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Be authorized or eligible to work by law in the U.S.
