The Eastern NY Commercial Horticulture program is an extension and applied research program that serves fruit and vegetable growers in eastern NY state.  We are looking for a research technician to begin work this spring.  This is a full-time (39 hours / week) six-month appointment with possible extension depending on funding and performance.  This position is located in the Hudson Valley in Highland, New York. 

Applicants should have formal training beyond a High School Diploma and 6+ months of experience in an agriculture setting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.  They should have a proven ability to work independently in collecting and summarizing data, competence utilizing current computer technology, and be well organized and excellent communicators.
