The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking to hire a student assistant to work under the close supervision of a Senior Transportation engineer, in a learning capacity, the student assistant will work with the Environmental Engineering Unit.

The California Department of Transportation, District 1 in conjunction with the California Transportation Foundation (CTF) and Caltrans Social Fund, is pleased to announce the availability of two (2) $1,500 scholarships.

All HSU undergraduates must pass the Graduation Writing Proficiency Exam (GWPE) to graduate. Students are encouraged to take the exam in their junior year.
