Jeffrey S. Navarro mentors work closely with Environmental Resources Engineering (ERE) students in their 200-level ENGR classes. Working 5-10 hours a week, with a flexible schedule, mentors organize pizza study sessions and meet one-on-one with assigned mentees in ENGR 210. Mentors meet weekly with the ERE department chair to prepare for discussing topics from an established mentor curriculum with their mentees. Mentors also work with the department chair to promote and foster the ERE community and help organize the ERE Professional Development Seminar Series.
