The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is seeking to hire a student assistant to work under the close supervision of a Senior Transportation engineer, in a learning capacity, the student assistant will work with the Environmental Engineering Unit. The student assistant will assist Environmental Engineering Unit staff, specifically the engineering geologist, to create a geospatial database, and to prepare and deliver environmental documents. The student assistant may assist other Environmental Staff as needed in the preparation of environmental documents.
